Notes on chess on the web

I am making some notes about chess on the web. As some members of the Saratoga Staunton Chess Club know, I am “mildly addicted” to playing one minute chess online. I mostly play on https://www.chess.com/live and on https://lichess.org/ as “sapolion”, these games are enough to kill all my free time. I don’t really think one minute games count as chess games in any meaningful sense.

At a club meeting, while discussing the Traxler (Wilkes-Barre), Alan mentioned trying to organize a thematic tournament on the opening using https://www.chessworld.net/. I needed to become a paid member to join the thematic, and I also needed to take some time to learn the mechanisms of the site. I have decided to start some fixed web pages covering the major chess playing websites and document my experiences.
